Geoffrey Fulkerson, Associate Director

Geoffrey Fulkerson, Associate DirectorGeoffrey Fulkerson is the Associate Director of the Jonathan Edwards Center at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, as well as the Managing Director of the Henry Center for Theological Understanding.

Born on the south side of Chicago, and having studied at the University of Illinois (UIUC), Geoffrey is a native to the Chicagoland area. Prior to joining the Trinity community, Geoffrey studied Communications at UIUC and was the Communications Intern at Beta Theta Pi General Fraternity. As he began to walk with the Lord, however, Geoffrey felt a burden for Christ’s bride, the Church, and has spent the last nearly 10 years of his life pursuing theological education, first completing a Masters of Divinity at TEDS in 2006, and now working to complete his PhD in theological studies (concentration in Systematic Theology), under Dr. Kevin Vanhoozer. In becoming the Assistant Director of the JEC, Geoffrey now has the unique opportunity to combine his knowledge of communications with his commitment to the local church and the necessity of theological education, both promoting the mission of the Center and hopefully ultimately the upbuilding of the Church.

Prior to working at TEDS, Geoffrey was an adjunct professor at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL, led the college ministry at The Orchard EFC, and worked with the Director of Advancement for the Great Lakes District (EFCA). He also continues to be actively involved in his church.

Geoffrey resides with his wife, Katherine, and two daughters, Sophia and Anastasia, in Highwood, IL. |
